WOW!! PREVIOUSLY UNREPORTED!!
This is a FABULOUS NUT BOWL in the Stag & Holly pattern! Could you find another? Heck if I know... I doubt it... I've not seen a lot of nut bowls in this pattern and I can't find any report of one that has sold EVER! Maybe it's the only one... who knows?
What I WILL say about it, is that this is the most amazing iridescence!! SWIRLING rainbows!!! Really just AWESOME!! Even the center where you typically find solely gold, is colorful and has no wear! The back of this bowl is also AWESOME!! Can't lose with this one!!
I had a nut bowl once in blue (this one is amethyst) and it had some glass missing along the small collar base in between the feet along the seam... here there is one also! I imagine this occurred during manufacture.
I use no artificial lighting, all is natural light from outdoors... this means I do not take a lamp outside with me to make my glass look shiny... inside when you open these items they will have a better shine because of your indoor lighting. I also don't use any "super sheen" products or anything on the glass other than mild detergent/soap to wash the dirt off with.
